Appointment Information

IS IT AN EMERGENCY?

During or after office hours, call 911 and follow their instructions. Notify them of who your doctor is and ask a family member to notify your doctor, as soon as possible. Should your doctor be out of town or unavailable, one of his partners will respond to your emergency call.

Hours

Associates in E.N.T.'s regular office hours are the same at both locations: Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. When making your appointment, please give the receptionist enough information about your problem so that we allow enough time for your visit. We make every effort to schedule you so that your wait time is minimal. However, the physician’s schedule can sometimes fluctuate due to an emergency or surgery.

In fairness to other patients and the doctor, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel your appointment.

Appointments

For an appointment with any of our physicians at any of our offices, please call our scheduling line at 423-267-6738.

Calls to the doctor

The doctor or the office nurse will make every effort to return a non-emergency phone call within 24 hours. After hours, weekends and holidays, non-emergency calls will be relayed to the office by our answering service on the next working day.

Prescriptions

Associates in E.N.T. physicians cannot prescribe medications after hours or over the phone. When you need a refill on your prescription, contact your pharmacy. If physician approval is required, it will be necessary for you to call our office during regular business hours. When you call, please be able to tell us the name of the medication and the prescription number on the bottle. After hours, weekends and holidays, renewals or new prescriptions will not be handled until the next working day.
